Frank Smith, a North Lake Avenue sign maker, says he is tired of noise and fights he believes originate at a nearby bar, a location the city police chief says is a trouble spot for his department.
Smith has contacted Mayor Thomas M. Whalen III and the state Liquor Authority asking that activities at Izzy's Pub at 62 N. Lake Ave. be better monitored.
