Was the clinic sold for land? ; Your views

I AM sad but not surprised by the proposed removal of the BloodDonor Clinic from its; Brentwood premises.

As with the processing and testing facilities sadly gone too, thecentre was perfectly placed to serve the highly populated London andsouth east areas.

This now requires long road journeys to achieve, not sensiblegiven high fuel costs and certainly not green.

I do wonder why the Blood Service would vacate premisesconstructed on land given freely by private donation.

I hope I am wrong and if so I'm sure the NBS will correct me.

But prime land and profit do come to mind.
